About The Job
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Customer Service Advisor Apprentice to join the Community Choices Day Opportunities Service. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for the people we support, their families, and visitors, helping to create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone.
You will answer customer enquiries and provide administrative support through different communication channels, while always delivering a high standard of customer service. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable skills, build confidence, and develop experience in a supportive team environment.
Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.
About You
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor Apprentice with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be able to deal with enquiries from members of the public both face to face and over the telephone in a polite, professional, and helpful manner. You will be willing to learn new procedures quickly and provide high standards of customer service at all times.
The role requires good IT skills, including the use of Windows-based systems such as Word and Excel, along with accurate keyboard and numeracy skills. You will support the team with a range of administrative duties including producing meeting notes, scanning, photocopying, filing, and printing documents.
We are looking for someone who can work well as part of a team while also using their own initiative when needed. A good standard of spoken and written English is essential, along with an understanding of equality, diversity, and the impact discrimination can have on service delivery and the people we support.
Applicants should hold GCSE English and Maths at pass level or be willing to work towards these qualifications as part of the apprenticeship. You must be committed to completing the apprenticeship training programme, flexible to support the needs of the service during busy periods, and able to travel across the Borough when required. Candidates must also have lived in the UK for the last three years.
Employment Requirements
This is a public-facing role so you need to demonstrate fluency in speaking and writing English.
If you are passionate about helping people, eager to learn, and ready to start your career in customer service, we would love to hear from you.
