About The Role
Location: Meadow View – Doncaster
Support Workers work with adults with autism, learning disabilities and intensive specialist support needs, supporting them with daily routines and helping them live life to their full potential.
Rota: 4 days working, 2 days off. Shifts: Lates: Weekday 1:45pm – 10pm, Weekends 1:15pm – 10pm; Earlies: Weekday 7:30am – 2:45pm, Weekends 7:30am – 1:45pm.
About You
We are hiring a Driver Support Worker to help people we support access trips and opportunities in the wider community.
The role is flexible and includes evening and weekend work, as well as providing direct care and support.
Responsibilities
- Drive and provide safe transport to and from community activities, meetings and visits.
- Provide direct care and support where needed, building positive relationships.
- Support adults with autism, learning disabilities and intensive specialist needs with daily routines.
- Adapt care plans to meet the individual needs and interests of the service users.
Qualifications
- Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
- Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
