Role Overview
HC‑One is looking for a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and experience with IT systems is desirable. The role requires a considerate and kind approach when communicating with residents or co‑workers.
Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Operative you will ensure that residents live in a well‑maintained environment. Responsibilities include carrying out audits, maintaining records and performing a range of maintenance tasks such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on bedroom windows and applying wallpaper in dining rooms. You will perform all duties with a focus on kindness.
Safeguarding is a core responsibility. You must recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role, seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if required.
Qualifications & Experience
Solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping.
Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience with IT systems is advantageous.
