Chester (Head Office) – 4 Month Fixed‑Term Contract (1st June – 1st October). Full Time – Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm. Pay £12.71 per hour.

About The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers who have booked their holiday through our third‑party partners. You’ll manage inbound enquiries via telephone and client portals, helping customers feel informed, reassured, and excited about their holiday plans. You’ll work closely with colleagues across our Customer Success function to deliver efficient, compliant, and high‑quality customer experiences every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver exceptional customer service across phone, email, and written communication channels.
  • Support customers with pre‑stay and in‑stay queries.
  • Handle inbound enquiries including booking amendments, payments, and general service questions.
  • Conduct outbound calls to support and assist customers.
  • Explain insurance cover options and handle objections confidently and professionally.
  • Accurately record customer interactions within internal systems.
  • Work in line with FCA and company compliance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
  • Act as a proud ambassador for the Sykes brand and values.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident handling objections and influencing customer decisions positively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated environment.
  • Experience using CRM or contact centre systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently across multiple systems.

Desirable

  • Experience within the travel or holiday industry.
  • Experience working in a target‑driven environment.
