Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team, maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard across our sites. This role is offered on a seasonal temporary contract from March to October each year, with the opportunity to extend to full-time permanent for the right candidate. There are also additional winter night shift opportunities available for gritting work at £300 per shift!

Key Responsibilities

• General grounds maintenance and landscaping duties
• Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and pruning
• Litter picking and site tidiness
• Operating handheld machinery and maintenance equipment
• Supporting seasonal and reactive works as required

Essential Requirements

• Full, valid UK driving licence
• Clear CRB/DBS check
• Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Desirable (but not essential)

• Tractor driving experience
• Hard landscaping experience
