Operations Support Manager

We are looking for an ambitious, highly organised and proactive Operations Support Manager to work closely with the Operations Director and wider leadership team in a fast‑paced operational environment. This role sits at the centre of business activity, providing executive support while coordinating priorities, improving performance visibility and ensuring smooth running of key operational processes. You will enable senior leadership to focus on strategic delivery by managing detail, driving actions forward and maintaining strong organisational control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Director with diary management, scheduling meetings, organising travel and coordinating day‑to‑day priorities.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing packs, presentations and supporting documents in advance of meetings.
  • Track actions and deliverables from leadership meetings, client reviews and operational forums, following up with stakeholders, monitoring progress, chasing updates and ensuring agreed actions are completed within timescales.
  • Provide wider operational coordination support across the business, organising governance activity such as leadership meetings, customer reviews, performance meetings and internal planning sessions, ensuring they are well managed, documented and outcome‑focused.
  • Support business reporting and performance management by preparing reports, presentations and summaries for internal and external stakeholders, producing clear insights, dashboards and updates that support decision‑making, business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build effective working relationships with clients, internal teams and senior stakeholders, acting as a professional and reliable point of contact.

This role offers broad exposure across multiple business functions while working closely with senior leadership in a dynamic and growing organisation.

About You

You will have previous experience in executive support, business operations, administration or a similar role supporting senior leaders in a busy and fast‑moving environment. You will be highly organised, with excellent time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You will be proactive, able to anticipate needs, solve problems quickly and work with minimal supervision.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with confidence to engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels. You will be discreet, trustworthy and able to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.

You should have advanced Microsoft 365 skills – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word and SharePoint – and be confident producing polished reports, presentations and business documentation. Most importantly, you are reliable, adaptable and motivated to deliver high standards consistently.

Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required depending on business needs.

  • Company car/ car allowance
  • Single private medical cover
  • Life assurance 2x annual salary
