Job Description:
The LANSS Delivery Team at Honister Slate Mine in Keswick is seeking a motivated Saw Operator & Stonemason to help produce slate products using traditional techniques. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn a skilled craft in the last working slate mine in England.
Responsibilities include operating a saw, splitting slate for roofing, and working alongside experienced craftsmen. Full training will be provided, and a half-day trial shift is offered to find the right fit.
