Sacred Heart Primary School (SIPS) is seeking a Learning Support Assistant Level 2 to join our team in September 2026. The school is a two‑form‑entry primary school in Tipton that caters to children aged 3–11.
Responsibilities
- Support learning and development across the primary school.
- Deliver effective classroom practice to primary school children.
- Use motivating and engaging techniques to excite children about learning.
- Work effectively as part of a teaching and support team.
- Manage behaviour with a calm, nurturing approach.
- Liaise with parents and keep good parental engagement practice.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with children who have Autism, ADHD, and Global Development Delay.
- Experience supporting SEN pupils.
- Experience with challenging behaviour management.
- Preferably, experience delivering early phonics or language programmes.
- Professional background in education or a related field is desirable.
