About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding role, we have several casual positions available due to growing demand for services. You will provide a person-centred approach to people living with a disability in their homes and in community settings including supports with personal care, daily living tasks, social support and capacity building activities in accordance with their individual plans, goals and aspirations.
This is a casual position with a variety of shift times and lengths available:
7am-1pm, 1pm-6pm and 6pm-7am (Inclusive of a sleepover shift), as well as shorter shifts across weekdays and weekends.
About You
- Located centrally such as Innaloo and Wembley and be prepared to travel within a 30 minute radius
- Flexibility to cover unplanned leave is preferred
- Certificate III in Community Care, Aged Care, Individualised Supports or Disability (equivalent or related field)
- Preferred relevant experience in the role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to develop rapport with a diverse range of people
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team environment
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Access to a roadworthy vehicle which is registered in WA and covered by Third-Party Insurance (as a minimum) issued by an insurance company
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to apply)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to complete)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
- First Aid & CPR certificate
