Customer Service Coordinator

GWP, one of the UK’s leading packaging manufacturers, is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join our established team. You will become part of a business established for more than 30 years, with a strong history of producing sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging. GWP is part of Macfarlane PLC (the UK’s largest packaging distributor) and has experienced strong growth over the past three years.

Customer Service Coordinator Role

The customer service coordinator role is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation where you will be a valued member of a small and conscientious sales team. We are looking for an individual who has sound numerical and organisational skills and the drive to contribute towards achieving our KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a strong rapport with the sales team and internal departments to deliver excellent service.
  • Produce accurate estimates, process orders and log enquiries from customer/sales team briefs using bespoke software applications integral to GWP.
  • Learn and apply manufacturing and design capability and reflect this knowledge on accurate estimates.
  • Liaise and build working relationships with key suppliers. Coordinate each stage of the enquiry process from design through to order and delivery.
  • Prioritise own workload with attention to detail and multitasking.
  • Learn order processing procedures so that this function can be covered when required (e.g., to cover colleague’s annual leave).

About You

  • Previous demonstrable experience of working within a similar fast‑paced customer service (preferably B2B) or sales administration oriented role.
  • Effective communication skills allowing for the provision of excellent customer service.
  • Strong office/administrative skills including high levels of numeracy and literacy.
  • The ability to learn and follow correct procedures and processes.
  • Well‑presented and punctual.
