Hours: 10–15.5 per week (including Mondays & Fridays, flexible on working hours, occasional extra hours ad‑hoc)

Pay: £15.45 per hour (PA rate weekday) / Self‑Employed Worker rate £19.50

Enhanced DBS check required

Responsibilities

• Prompts and support with eating, drinking and medication
• Meal preparation and cooking, including batch cooking
• Cleaning tasks (laundry, bins, changing bed sheets)
• Organising, decluttering, shopping assistance
• Reassurance and encouragement with showering/bathing, and assistance during symptom flare‑ups
• Planning and attending appointments
• Physical assistance with mobility aids and wheelchair use
• Dog walking
• Admin support and communication with services
• Managing energy and reducing overwhelm
• Reassurance, validation and support during symptom flares and late diagnosis of AuDHD

Qualifications

• Calm, compassionate, patient and adaptable
• Experienced in neurodivergence support
• Familiar with chronic illness, fluctuating energy/symptoms
• Covid/contagious illness conscious and mindful of health vulnerabilities
• Good communicator, organised, comfortable advocating when needed
• Able to drive with personal car (Clean Air Zone exempt priority)
• Able to work collaboratively (especially alongside another PA)
• Enhanced DBS check
