A welcoming Specialist School in Reading is seeking a committed Mental Health Support Assistant to join their supportive team immediately. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who have SEMH needs, autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
Responsibilities
- Providing tailored 1:1 support for pupils
- Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Encouraging positive classroom engagement
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teachers and therapists
- Starting ASAP with excellent transport links
Qualifications
The ideal Mental Health Support Assistant will have previous experience in education, youth work, care, or support work.
