Live in Support Worker 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rota.
About the Role
You’ll be providing two-to-one, person-centred care to a woman living with a spinal cord injury. She’s described as outgoing and friendly and she’s looking for someone to support her with things like:
- Trips out into the community
- Online shopping
- Day trips and social activities
You’ll also help with aspects of her personal and clinical care, including:
- Personal care
- Medication support
- Moving and handling
- Bowel management
- Use of a cough assist device
No experience? No problem! Full specialist training will be provided, including shadow shifts with experienced team members.
A full clean UK driving licence is ideal, as you’ll be asked to drive the client’s adapted vehicle. Own transport essential due to the client’s rural location.
