Warehouse Operative Nights
Our Distribution team is now looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our Nights team at our state‑of‑the‑art hub in Thatcham. You will support the seamless operation of the warehouse, ensuring the flow of stock and delivering a high‑quality service for our customers.
About the Role
In this role you will carry out a variety of warehouse tasks with precision and efficiency, including goods receiving, picking, packing and dispatch. You will work closely with team members and other departments to keep stock movements timely and accurate, and you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work nights on a rota: 9pm – 7am, 4days on and 4days off.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check and sort a wide range of products entering the warehouse.
- Pick, pack and relocate stock across the Distribution Centre using both manual and mechanical methods.
- Operate equipment such as pump trucks, powered pump trucks and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload palletised products into or from vehicles.
- Perform stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, upholding health and safety and housekeeping standards.
- Support the team in processing, packaging and shipping orders securely and on time.

Physical Requirements
The role is physically demanding and involves regular lifting of products up to 25kg and walking long distances throughout the warehouse. Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
