Support Worker – Supported Living

Overview

Space Inclusive is a support service for autistic adults and people with learning disabilities. In 2023, we opened our first supported living service to complement our successful and established day services. In partnership with Nottingham City Council, we are expanding and looking for additional team members to support people in their new homes.

Responsibilities

• Help people to live fulfilled and happy lives, promoting independence in both their home and the community.
• Help people to develop positive relationships and to participate as equal members of the local community.
• Carry out everyday tasks, including prompting and supporting with personal care.
• Take part in a range of interests and activities that make up a healthy, well-balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s proven experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

Vacancy Details

• Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience.
• Full time 37.5 hours per week.
• Day/evening shifts between 7:00-22:00.
• Night shift 10:00-7:00.
