Shifts

  • Early Bird: 7am – 9am (for staff finishing a sleepover shift)
  • Long Day + Sleepover: 9am – 10pm (Sleepover 10pm – 7am)

About The Role

We’re looking for confident, experienced male Support Workers to join our Bank team supporting a sociable and independent gentleman who loves walks, bowling, and a good chat over tea.

Responsibilities

  • Support the gentleman to achieve his personal goals and maintain his independence.
  • Encourage participation in social activities and daily routines.
  • Redirect and de‑escalate challenging behaviour when it arises.
  • Keep a safe and friendly environment for the client.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience with challenging behaviour
  • MAPA and first aid training, or willingness to learn
  • Patience, positivity, and confidence to handle tricky moments calmly

What’s Important

  • The client prefers male staff who interact with him and help him achieve his goals.
  • He values independence, social activities, and a consistent routine.
  • The role requires the ability to redirect and de‑escalate when behaviour becomes challenging.
