Job Overview

Bank Support Worker – located in Bourne, Lincolnshire. The role is dedicated to supporting individuals with complex support needs, including Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and other conditions. This position is restricted to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement to preserve the dignity and privacy of the women we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encourage people to take active roles in their communities and promote independence.
  • Support activities of daily living: personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals, budgeting.
  • Communicate effectively using the individual’s chosen methods.
  • Promote and motivate people we support to enhance their quality of life.
  • Provide positive behavioural support where needed.
  • Record and report accurate changes in health or circumstances to management.
  • Work as part of a team and take initiative independently.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
  • Positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
