Job Overview

Hexagon Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Customer Service / Admin Person to join a busy transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service and admin skills who is looking to develop within the transport and logistics sector. Full training will be provided, including bespoke software and transport processes.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls and address queries/issues.
  • Act as liaison between customers and the transport department.
  • Update and manage information using bespoke computer systems.
  • Resolve issues such as rerouting drivers and liaising directly with drivers.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
  • Occasional overtime required (weekdays and Saturdays).

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Confident answer calls and speak with customers.
  • Good basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel etc.)
  • Previous transport experience would be an advantage but not essential.

Compensation & Benefits

  • £12.71 per hour to start.
  • Temp to perm after 12 weeks.
  • Pay increase after 6 months.
  • Full training provided.
  • Excellent long‑term opportunity.
