Hayley Menzies is a contemporary luxury fashion brand rooted in the eclectic spirit of Portobello. We are entering a new phase of structured growth and are seeking a highly organised, detail-driven Finance & Operations Assistant to support the core financial and operational functions of the business.

This is a varied, hands‑on role at the centre of the studio – ideal for someone commercially minded, confident with numbers, and comfortable working across finance, logistics and operations.

Finance & Operations Assistant

Notting Hill, London (Studio-Based)

Full‑Time | Immediate Start

£26,000–£28,000 (depending on experience)

The Role

You will work directly with our Finance & Operations Manager and support across:

  • Credit control and debtor management
  • Wholesale shipping and logistics coordination
  • Financial administration and reconciliations
  • HR administrative support
  • Studio and operational organisation

This role requires someone proactive, calm under pressure, highly organised and confident using spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Control

  • Monitor wholesale accounts and aged debtors
  • Proactively chase overdue payments
  • Maintain accurate debtor reporting
  • Support improvement of payment discipline

Wholesale Logistics

  • Coordinate outbound wholesale shipments
  • Liaise with warehouse and logistics partners
  • Prepare shipping documentation
  • Track deliveries and resolve delays

Finance Administration

  • Reconcile company credit cards
  • Support bank reconciliations
  • Process invoices and ensure correct coding
  • Assist with cash flow reporting preparation

HR & Studio Admin

  • Maintain employee records and holiday tracking
  • Support onboarding documentation
  • Order studio supplies and manage operational admin

About You

  • 1–3 years’ experience in finance, operations or office administration
  • Experience supporting credit control or accounts receivable
  • Strong Excel skills and confident working with data
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Professional and confident when chasing payments
  • Flexible, hands‑on and solutions‑focused
  • AAT or part‑qualified accounting qualification preferred (not essential)

Package & Working Structure

  • Salary: £26,000–£28,000 depending on experience
  • Studio‑based role in Notting Hill with one WFH day
  • Company laptop provided
