Role: Service Centre Technician

Location: Knutsford, Parkgate Industrial Estate

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, the service centre technician will:

  • Complete rework processes for Oliver Valves, Oliver Valvetek, Oliver Twinsafe, and Oliver Hydcovalves
  • Investigate and analyze client-reported failures and on-site issues
  • Inspect components in detail
  • Carry out assembly, testing, and remedial rectification work
  • Produce clear reports
  • Host third-party or client witnesses
  • Maintain service centre tooling and test equipment
  • Work closely with QA, Sales, Production, and Engineering teams to meet internal standards
  • Support R&D by assembling and testing prototype valves

What You’ll Bring

We want a service centre technician who:

  • Can assemble mechanical components
  • Has experience with hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing
  • Can inspect components accurately
  • Is comfortable with computers and Microsoft packages
  • Is reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Works well in a team and has a positive attitude
  • Has good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
