Role overview
You will support young people with mild, moderate, profound, and severe learning and/or physical disabilities. You should have a track record of achieving excellent outcomes in supporting and caring for those with learning disabilities in an educational setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient, nurturing, and adaptable support to learners based on their individual learning and care needs.
- Support and care for young people with learning disabilities in an educational setting.
- Prioritise workload and work independently as required.
- Report any safeguarding concerns in accordance with agreed procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting young people with mild to severe learning and/or physical disabilities.
- Track record of excellent outcomes in an educational setting.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
Working hours & contract
Fixed term contract, term time only. Approximately 2 weeks additional leave over the summer beyond typical Wiltshire schools.
