Maintenance Operative / Handyman
Temporary Role – 4 to 6 Months
Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hands‑on Maintenance Handyman to support a busy manufacturing site on a temporary basis for approximately 4-6 months.
This is a varied role involving general maintenance and site support duties across the facility, including:
- Dismantling and moving racking and equipment
- Painting and general decorating touch‑ups
- Changing locks and carrying out minor repairs
- Supporting with basic building maintenance tasks
- Assisting with office and production area set‑ups and alterations
- Carrying out general upkeep and improvements around the site
- Moving furniture, fixtures, and materials where required
- Supporting the maintenance team with ad hoc tasks and projects
- Ensuring work areas are kept safe, tidy, and organised
We are looking for someone with previous trade or maintenance experience who is adaptable, practical, and happy to support with a range of tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will be an all‑rounder with a proactive approach and a hands‑on attitude.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance, trade, or handyman experience
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
