THIS is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Maintenance Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will help to create safe and attractive surroundings that enable us to give patients the quality care and support they deserve. The role covers a range of maintenance tasks and ensures that the building and grounds are at their best all day, every day.
Responsibilities
- Cover the bank shift as and when required for annual leave or sick leave, with hours and days varying.
- Maintain safe, clean, and well‑kept environments throughout the care home.
- Perform general property maintenance tasks across the building and grounds.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
- Support the care team by ensuring the physical setting meets high standards.

- Experience in property maintenance.
