Overview
We are recruiting experienced Pickers & Packers for our Skelmersdale site to work 4 days on and 4 days off each week. The role involves using a handheld scanner and picking detailed customer orders, supporting a range of products from screws to paint, light fixtures, and household items. Pickers will be required to meet hourly targeted pick rates.
Responsibilities
- Load, pick and pack high‑demand, fast‑moving consumer products.
- Use hand‑held scanners to follow pick routes and scan items, ensuring daily targets are met.
- Maintain accuracy, quality and attention to detail in all orders.
- Support performance targets within a team environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in picking and packing fast‑moving consumer goods.
- Ability to work from 6am to 5:30pm and to follow a 4 days on / 4 days off pattern.
- Right to work in the UK.
Pay & Working Hours
- £13.00 per hour minimum.
- Enhanced night rates available for those who would like to work evenings.
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern providing a balanced work life.
- Shift start at 6am and finish at 5:30pm.
