The Role
We are recruiting for an Assistant Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy and growing operation based in Carnforth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up into a leadership-focused role within a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of the warehouse, working closely with a team of 6 to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders with a high level of accuracy
- Supporting the Team Leader with daily operational tasks
- Working efficiently in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
- Assisting in coordinating and motivating a small team
- Ensuring all orders meet quality and accuracy standards
- Contributing to the success of the company’s online order operation, which accounts for approximately one-third of the business
About You
- Excellent attention to detail is essential
- Previous warehouse experience (team leadership or senior role desirable)
- Ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and committed with a proactive attitude
