Our client, a market-leading manufacturer within the packaging industry, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their established engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business investing heavily in its people, equipment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of high-speed production machinery across a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site equipment
• Provide electrical engineering support across all manufacturing and production operations
• Fault‑find and repair automated machinery, robotics, conveyor systems, and associated production equipment
• Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
• Diagnose breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency
• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, safety, reliability, and operational performance
• Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and improvement projects
• Work closely with production teams to resolve machinery issues and optimise machine performance
• Support machine changeovers, setups, and production start‑ups where required
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed in line with site procedures and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, permit systems, and engineering best practices
