We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to work 24 hours per week, split between day and waking night shifts (8am‑8pm days, 8pm‑8am nights).
Responsibilities
- Provide full assistance with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, eating & drinking, maintaining the home environment, safety, social activities, toileting and support for high sensory needs.
- Work on a 2:1 basis throughout the day and night to meet the client’s complex needs.
- Support the client with personal care and toileting needs, encourage independence, provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help with household tasks and meal preparation.
- Assist the client to attend appointments and community activities.
- Administer medication when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- A caring and empathetic nature.
- A genuine desire to support others.
- Basic IT and record‑keeping skills.
- UK driving licence is advantageous.
- Previous experience helpful but not essential – full training provided.
- Right to work in the UK with documentation valid for at least 12 months.
- Good standard of spoken and written English.
