You will respond to machine breakdowns during live operations, carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs safely and efficiently to minimise downtime.
The role requires close communication with Engineering Shift Managers, ensuring parts, materials, and follow‑up actions are reported accurately and promptly. You will play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability and availability by supporting delivery of the preventative maintenance plan, identifying spare parts requirements, and liaising with internal teams to ensure stock availability.
There is also an expectation to support multi‑skilled working where appropriate and complete additional training as required. A strong focus on safety underpins the role, with responsibility for working to safe systems of work at all times, following SOPs, and ensuring risk assessments are completed, reviewed, and adhered to.
