Customer Service Associate – Temp (Ongoing)

Crewe | Hybrid | £14.83 per hour | 36 hours per week

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Customer Service Associate to join their team in Crewe on a temporary ongoing basis – with an immediate start available.

About the Opportunity

Due to multiple absences within the team, our client is looking for extra support within their Customer & Consumer Services function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established organisation where you’ll play a key role in delivering a high standard of service across a busy, fast‑paced environment.

The Role

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will act as a central point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring queries and orders are handled efficiently and professionally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer enquiries, complaints, and service requests end-to-end
  • Processing orders, billing, credits, debits, and refunds
  • Monitoring orders and ensuring compliance with processes and regulations
  • Acting as a SPOC for customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Supporting reporting, escalations, and administrative processes
  • Meeting performance KPIs around service delivery and resolution times

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role (minimum 1 year)
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, team‑focused approach

Experience with systems such as SAP is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Working Pattern

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift pattern between 7:00am – 5:30pm (early and late rotations)

Location & Flexibility

  • Based in Crewe
  • Initially fully office‑based for training
  • Hybrid working available once training is complete

Pay & Contract

  • £14.83 per hour
  • Temporary ongoing assignment
  • Immediate start available
