About the Role
You will join a close‑knit team providing waste and recycling solutions to businesses across the UK. You will develop relationships with customers to provide excellent service as their primary point of contact for all enquiries, mainly via email and some calls. You will use problem‑solving skills to resolve issues and organizational skills to ensure services run smoothly.
As you learn your customers’ needs, you will identify new sales opportunities. You will be supported to learn the industry, our products, and services, with a strong numeracy ability underpinning your work.
You must enjoy working as part of a team both within your immediate group and across the business, assisting Account Managers with mobilising new contracts. A good ability with IT is required to use the computer systems that manage customer interactions, and you must communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
The team enjoys time together outside work, with opportunities to participate in team activities, fundraising, and celebrations.

- 37.5 hours a week, Monday‑Friday.

What We Need From You
- Experience in customer service, whether that be in an office, retail or hospitality setting.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- IT literacy and good ability with Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy when placing orders.
