We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Dispatch Agent.
Responsibilities
- Preparing driver paperwork
- Completing breakdowns
- Coordinating the distribution of work among Linehaul drivers to help them achieve the hub’s operational goals in the most efficient way
- Updating systems with accurate information to ensure correct execution of the delivery assignments
- Providing support to the drivers and assisting them with issue resolution
- Contacting customers when needed to obtain additional information or advise on potential service‑related issues
- Proactively reporting any issues that occurred to management and compiling reports on hub’s productivity, volumes and performance
Qualifications
- Experience in coordinating a team in a busy transport and/or dispatch environment is an advantage
- Good Microsoft Office & PC skills
- Good geographical knowledge
- Focused on accuracy and attention to detail
- Driven to solve problems while using planning and organizing skills
- Able to communicate and align with different stakeholders
- Ability to manage own and teams time effectively with attention to detail in a pressured environment

Salary: £31,603.14 per annum
Hours per week: 37.5
Days/shift Pattern: 14:00 – 22:00
