Learning Support Assistant

Crawley College, part of the Chichester College Group.

Up to 32 hours per week, 36 weeks per year.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students requiring additional help with their programmes of study across various areas within the college. You will create positive relationships with them and assist them in a classroom or workshop setting. This includes students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural, and mobility needs. Your work will ensure that students have a rewarding and fulfilling experience at college.

Responsibilities

Provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs, facilitating their academic progress and well‑being.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities.

Effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.

GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade C/4 or above (essential).
