Responsibilities

• Provide effective repair and preventative maintenance to ensure our hotel, grounds and facilities are kept in excellent condition.
• Maintain the building and grounds to the highest standard, without compromising the guest experience.
• Complete day‑to‑day maintenance requests.
• Ensure that all fixtures and fittings are maintained in perfect working condition and any defects are corrected promptly.
• Complete regular machinery testing and maintenance on the hotel machines and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance emergency calls from all departments.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good at multi‑tasking and able to respond to changes in job priorities at short notice.
• Flexible approach and working hard to avoid disrupting our guests.
• Remain calm under pressure.
• A smart and professional appearance.
• Team‑orientated and supportive of colleagues.
• Approachable, positive and proactive manner.
• Good understanding of building regulations and health and safety.
• Plumbing, carpentry and electrical skills are a real advantage.
• 4‑star hotel experience in a similar role a plus.
