Community Mental Health Nurse – Later Life North (Band 6)

Main area: Community Mental Health. Grade: Band 6. Contract: Permanent. Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm). Job ref 327‑26‑275‑A. Site: Avon House, Town Tewksbury. Salary: £39,959 – £48,117 per annum (yearly). Closing date: 29/06/2026 08:00.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Mental Health Nurse (Band 6) to join our Later Life Team, providing mental health care for older adults with severe mental health conditions.

Main duties of the job

This role involves care coordination for a designated caseload, working within CPA policy and associated county‑wide safety procedures, travelling independently, using IT skills, and applying relevant legislation regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, the MHA and MCA.
