Location & Compensation

Location: Tadcaster

Salary: £32,770 p/a plus shift allowance of £9,373. Benefits include annual bonus, double‑matched pension (up to 10%), 32 days’ holiday + 3 public holidays, life assurance and well‑being support.

About the role

The Technical Operator supports our high‑speed packaging line, maintaining machine reliability, safety and quality. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the running of high‑speed packaging machinery efficiently, effectively and safely.
• Performing quality checks and taking swift corrective actions.
• Managing stock levels accurately using SAP.
• Using process knowledge to identify root causes of problems and prevent recurrence.
• Actively contributing to a Zero Accident Culture by delivering high standards of cleanliness and reliability.
• Delivering First Time Right (FTR) on quality and process.
• Helping drive continuous improvement through our Total Productive Management (TPM) programme.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Maths & English GCSE’s.
• Good understanding of IT systems.
• Previous packaging experience preferred (not essential).
• Passion to learn.
