Mobile Plant Operative

Salary and Hours

Salary – £32,074.94 plus Veolia benefits. Hours – 47.5 Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:30. Occasional Bank Holidays and Weekend Shifts Where Required. Base Location: Sheffield MRF, Rotherham Road, Beighton, Sheffield S20 1AH.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant (including Telehandler with a bucket attachment) and baler
• Maintain efficient operation of the MRF plant equipment
• Ensure materials are processed in a timely manner to achieve maximum throughput at all times
• Ensure turnaround times are met regarding tipping and loading of vehicles

Qualifications

• Must hold a Telehandler / Teletruck licence (essential)
• Experience in operational manual handling
• Desirable: waste facility experience
• Desirable: experience with a loading shovel or 360 excavator
