Learning Support Assistant: Lead for Communication and Interaction Support

We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to take a leading role in our SEND team, focusing on provision for students with autism, communication and interaction needs. This is an exciting opportunity to shape inclusive practice and deliver high-impact support through in-class adaptations, 1:1, and small group interventions.

Responsibilities
- Lead the SEND team in delivering support for students with autism and communication/interaction needs.
- Plan and implement in-class adaptations, 1:1, and small group interventions.
- Contribute to the development of inclusive practice within the school.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to support student progress.
Qualifications
- A strong track record of working with young people to overcome barriers to learning.
- Experience in supporting students with autism, communication and interaction needs.
- Committed to helping every student make outstanding progress.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Qualified to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
