We’re looking for a People & Culture Coordinator (with a focus on Employee Relations) to join our team and play a key role in delivering an outstanding employee experience across the full lifecycle. This role blends operational HR excellence with hands‑on ER support, ideal for someone organised, people-focused, and confident handling sensitive matters.
What you’ll do
- Manage end‑to‑end onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a seamless employee experience
- Draft and issue contracts, offer letters, and maintain accurate HR records
- Support payroll processes with timely and accurate reporting of employee data
- Track probation periods, contract changes, and employee lifecycle updates
- Ensure Right to Work compliance and accurate documentation
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and support requests
- Coordinate inductions and deliver HR system and process training to new joiners
- Manage employee benefits queries, references, and general HR administration
- Lead exit interviews and offboarding processes, escalating where needed
- Support recruitment coordination and liaise with agency partners
- Deliver reward and recognition initiatives, including long‑service awards
- Provide first‑ and second‑line support on employee relations matters
- Advise managers on ER topics including absence, performance, disciplinaries, and grievances
- Support GDPR, ISO 27001 compliance, and document management processes
- Contribute to wider People & Culture projects and internal communications
What we’re looking for
- CIPD Level 3 (or above) or a degree in HR or related field
- Proven experience in an HR advisory or similar role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience handling ER cases including absence, performance, and disciplinaries
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to build trust at all levels
- Proactive, solutions‑focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong HR systems knowledge and Microsoft Office skills
- Understanding of UK‑GDPR, Right to Work, and compliance requirements
