Support Worker – North Walsham

Overview

Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team in North Walsham.

As a Support Worker, you will make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract & Pay

• Contract: Part‑time – flexible hours based on availability.
• Schedule: Days between 07:00‑22:00 (24‑hour care services).
• Hourly rate: £12.71 + training and benefits.
• Annual salary: £24,785 per annum, pro‑rata.
• All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
