Support Worker

Overview

He needs a new PA so that each month he can rely on seeing that person to do things with. This would be for 12 hours per month, used flexibly according to what was planned – daytime or evening. Could be a 6‑hour meet‑up 2× per month or a day out using all or part of the hours.

Responsibilities

• Talk and plan with him what to do and make the bookings.
• Contact his family about diary, website booking accounts, payments etc.
• Use public transport when appropriate or drive, as required.

Qualifications

• Driver with a vehicle.
• Comfortable and confident using public transport.
• Reliable, trustworthy and honest.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing and interesting.
• Independent and self‑assured, able to use initiative and seek guidance if needed.
• Willing to support and be familiar with his various interests (music, comedy, theatre, cinema, sports).
