Clondermott House is a supported living accommodation giving care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. It is situated in the Waterside area of Derry, Londonderry. Clondermott House provides 24‑hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and get involved in day‑to‑day decision making.
Qualifications
- QCF/NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- 6 months experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues.
- Must be currently registered with NISCC or, if new to the sector, must achieve registration within 6 months.
Additional Experience (or)
- 2 years’ experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues.
- Must be currently registered with NISCC or, if new to the sector, must achieve registration within 6 months.
Must be willing to work towards the completion of a relevant qualification.
Formal care / support may include caring at home where the carer is in receipt of the Carers’ Allowance. Formal care / support may also include voluntary work in a formal setting.
