An exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer to take ownership of strategic procurement within a world-leading engineering environment, supporting the development of next‑generation, zero‑emission technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement for complex engineered products and systems
• Manage strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations
• Drive cost optimisation and ensure supplier performance on quality and delivery
• Support ERP integration and identify process improvement opportunities
• Mentor and develop a small team to achieve departmental and business goals

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in strategic procurement within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong commercial acumen, with confident negotiation and stakeholder skills
• Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, business, or supply chain within aerospace, automotive or maritime industries
• Experience with ERP systems and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ideally CIPS/APICS qualified, with knowledge of composite or mechanical purchasing
