GXO is looking for a Regional Driver Trainer to join our central operational driver trainer team in Northampton. The role covers a 1h30 minute radius of Northampton and involves training all contracts across the region to ensure drivers are safe, compliant and well‑supported.
This is a full‑time, permanent position. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, with the option to work from home on Fridays. The base salary is up to £40,000.00 per annum, with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging DCPC training sessions using modern learning techniques in line with customer requirements.
- Conduct Driver Core inductions for all new core drivers and temporary workers as needed.
- Analyze data regularly to identify drivers requiring additional support and to monitor and develop driver performance through telemetry.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise on safety matters for managers and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding and ability to articulate, check, and challenge EC Driver, UK Domestic hours, and Working Time legislation.
- Knowledge of safety schemes and accreditations, including ADR, FORS, COCKS, and LLCS.
- Holder of a C+E Licence is essential.
- Holder of an International Transport Manager CPC is desirable but not essential.
