Pastoral Support Worker
Location: Dorking, Surrey
Pay: £90 – £120 per day
Type: Temporary (possible permanent)
Hours: Full-time

Role Overview
Your role is to ensure the welfare, safety, attendance, academic engagement and emotional wellbeing of the young people within the academy. You will promote and model the Academy’s culture of high-expectation and achievement and assist in ensuring the smooth running of the academy on a day-to-day basis. This will support providing an excellent setting in which students can maximise learning opportunities and overcome learning barriers.
Contract
Contract is short-term until the end of November, with the possibility of continuing thereafter.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in a similar role desired, or relevant experience in a school setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of education process and procedures.
- DBS on the Update Service preferred, to allow a quicker start time.
