About the Role

As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £14.55 for day shifts and sleeping nights are paid at £69.76 per shift.

This position is full-time 36 hours per week, including day shifts and sleep-in night shifts.

Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant

  • Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Helping with household tasks and meal preparation
  • Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
  • Administering medication when required

What We’re Looking For

To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:

  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Good communication skills
  • A genuine desire to support others
  • Basic IT and record-keeping skills
  • A full UK driving licence is advantageous
  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
  • A good standard of spoken and written English is essential
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, with documentation valid for at least 12 months
  • All roles are subject to pre‑employment checks including an enhanced DBS check and references
