Student & Families Support Worker
35 hours per week
NJC 23-28 (dependent on experience)
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our pastoral team in a new and exciting role. The role covers the hours of 8:00am-3:40pm, term time only. It focuses on developing good working relationships with students and families to encourage a culture of high attendance, enhance a sense of belonging and reduce the impact on education which adverse family events can cause.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with students and families.
- Encourage a culture of high attendance and reduce impacts of adverse family events.
- Support student welfare and collaborate with teams focused on building relationships.
- Work closely with pastoral and teaching staff to support the local community.
