Role Summary

We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw campus to join our Facilities Department as a Painting and Decorating Technician on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis.

Key Responsibilities

You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance decoration as required.

You will also support the building maintenance team when needed and undertake minor building repairs where necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Painting and decorating related qualification to level 3 or significant experience.
  • Demonstrate building maintenance experience.
  • Working at height training.
  • Manual handling training.
  • Risk assessment training.
  • COSH training.

Other Requirements

All applicants will be required to undergo an appropriate DBS check via the Criminal Records Bureau and may be subject to additional online checks as part of our pre‑screening process. Some roles are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and would require an Enhanced DBS check.
