Maintenance Operative

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am till 4:00pm
• £14.28 per hour
• Free on-site parking

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Operative to join our team with Sodexo.This is a fantastic role for a customer-focused individual looking to be part of a world-leading food and facilities management company, offering excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

What You’ll Do:

• Carry out all general and routine maintenance tasks across the site
• Ensure planned preventative maintenance is completed in line with scheduled work requests
• Follow the company’s quality management system, including all relevant quality assurance procedures and work instructions
• Support additional tasks as required to meet the needs of the business
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Respond promptly to reasonable requests from management

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong, task-focused approach
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks based on customer needs
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Physically fit, with basic maintenance knowledge (e.g. plumbing, lamp changing – desirable)
