Are you an experienced workshop plant fitter with a passion for keeping construction equipment running smoothly? If so, look no further as we’re looking for a dedicated individual to join our team and help maintain and repair a diverse range of construction plant.
The Role
As a valued member of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in servicing, repairing, and maintaining various assets within the Plant team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing top‑notch customer service.
- Servicing and maintaining all company plant assets, including towable equipment.
- Ensuring timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with the workshop supervisor.
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Assisting other members of the Clancy Plant team.
This list isn’t exhaustive; you may also be called upon for additional duties as needed. While primarily based in the workshop, you may be required to attend breakdowns on‑site in emergency situations.
Qualified Candidates
- An NVQ Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent, and previous experience in plant maintenance is essential.
- Self‑motivation and excellent communication skills are important, along with being a problem‑solving whizz who has a knack for diagnosing faults.
- A full UK clean driving licence is essential.
