Admin / Customer Service Advisor (Motor Garage)
Location: Grays
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour (DOE)
A busy and well‑established motor garage in the Grays area is looking for a reliable and organised Admin / Customer Service Advisor to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with previous garage experience who can confidently manage customer enquiries, bookings, and day‑to‑day admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming calls and customer enquiries in a professional, friendly manner
- Booking vehicles in for MOTs, servicing, and repairs
- Managing daily administrative duties and maintaining accurate records
- Creating and managing online listings on eBay
- Processing orders and updating internal systems
- Keeping customers informed regarding vehicle progress, updates, and collections
- Supporting the workshop team with general coordination
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a motor garage is essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confident using computers and online platforms (including eBay and Amazon)
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Professional, reliable, and able to work well under pressure
- Friendly, approachable manner with a customer‑first mindset
